O2Low Anoxic Preservation
Ancient Heritage Preservation – O2Low Anoxic Preservation
What is Anoxic Preservation?
By controlling levels of oxygen, gases, temperature, and humidity, the oxygen-free preservation system protects historically important artifacts, objects or documents from insects, moisture, and all other biological damage. This app is called O2Low Anoxic Preservation System.
O2Low Anoxic Preservation System
- Kills insects that may live in artifacts
- Protects against the growth of aerobic microbes and anaerobic bacteria
- Provides decontamination of insect-infected artifacts
- Prevents moisture damage
- Creates optimal conditions for the protection of artifacts
- Provides fire protection
- Provides protection through anoxic application
How does it work?
Based on controlled atmosphere technology, the O2Low Anoxic Preservation regulates and controls the air inside individual rooms or museum displays/ showcases. The O2Low Anoxic Preservation system creates an inert gas environment inside these rooms.
What are the benefits?
In addition to killing insects and pests, the O2Low Anoxic Protection System protects artifacts, historically important objects and documents from the growth of aerobic microbes and anaerobic bacteria, to which artifacts are often very sensitive. By displaying or storing artifacts in a controlled atmosphere display case, any growth of biological beings is suppressed, and surface oxidation and discoloration are also greatly reduced.
Thus, a controlled atmosphere preservation system offers a complete and cost-effective solution on protecting organic objects from the effects of changes in humidity, insects, microbes and bacterias. It also protects the artifacts from thermal and photochemical oxidation, therefore helps to prevent further deterioration of the preserved objects.
The O2Low Anoxic Protection system is also a fire prevention system. Due to the fact that in the event of a fire, the use of water or foam / chemicals to extinguish is highly undesirable and can lead to partial or complete destruction of historical objects, Their storage with O2Low Anoxic Preservation prevents any ignition, since in this gas environment ignition is impossible. Thus, O2Low Anoxic Preservation provides maximum reliable fire protection.
Application Methods
O2Low Anoxic Preservation can be developed by OXYCAT as a variety of oxygen-free systems/cabinets, shelves, display cases to protect and prevent aging of valuable artifacts or exhibits in archives, warehouses or museums
